Milling
Pleasanton Tool & Mfg. offers two types of milling departments: manual and CNC machining (computer numerical control). We provide services from 5-axis CNC machines and CNC horizontal/vertical mills to manual Bridgeport™ machines.
CNC 5-Axis Mill
Many parts benefit from significant reduction in setup time and increased accuracy by combining several traditional milling operations into one setup on a 5 Axis mill. We routinely machine parts in 2 operations that would require 5 to 10 setups on a 3 Axis mill. The result is a higher quality product at an economical price.

CNC Vertical Mills
Our horizontal and vertical CNC machining centers with 3 and 4 axis capabilities have machine travel up to 80” x 36”. From complicated 3D-surfaced parts to secondary milling operations on turned parts, our machining centers can handle it all. Our team can machine all types of material and a wide variety of parts. With this equipment and our teams combined experience in this department, we rarely have to turn down a job, no matter how intricate it is.

Turning
Pleasanton Tool & Mfg. offers two types of milling equipment from out cnc machine shop: manual and CNC (computer numerical control). We provide services from 3 Axis CNC Machines to Manual Lathes. We have 0.050'' to 24'' diameter machines.

With our HWACHEON HI-TECK 2004, we are able to do secondary mill operations which saves our customer extra costs. We are able to do small collet work on our BAR FEED TMC-15 and up to 24" diameter parts on our NAKAMURA SC-450.

Wire EDM (Electronic Discharge Machine)
With our wire EDM's, we have the capability to maintain tolerances of .0001" on any type of material or exotic alloy. We are able to use wire as small as .004" diameter on the toughest materials. When utilizing our micro mini package, our customers get a precision part at an economic price.

Inspection Department
Pleasanton Tool is dedicated to consistently meeting or exceeding all of our customer's requirements by the utilization of First Article, In process and final Inspection points. This is done with assistance that range from the numerous surface plates and height gages up to the two CMM's and optical comparator we use for more precise measurements. We also maintain all documentation regarding the projects completed here at Pleasanton Tool for 10 years.
